MY PRAY, A POEM WRITTEN BY HAMZAH FANSURI

 

God whatever your bounty for me in the world

Grant to your enemies

 

And whatever your bounty for me in the afterlife

Dedicate to your best friends

Oh to me, enough of your presence

Oh to me, enough of your presence

 

If I prostrate for you God for fear of hell

Burn me with the fire of hell

When prostration me God because crave heaven

So close the gates of heaven to me

 

But if you prostrate for your sake only

O God, do not turn away from me

I miss looking at your beauty O God

I miss looking at your beauty O God
